  • Opinion (after wearing them for many months at many events and local dances and for many hours teaching):
Styles: Taygra Corridalta - Black // Slim Danca

This is the happiest my feet have been in dance shoes in a long, long time. As someone with hyper-sensitive feet and bunions, I am overjoyed to find a shoe that feels this way.
I find these shoes to be very foot friendly, comfortable, and fashionable. I have several pair and love that they come in a range of colors and heights.
I have never had sore feet after wearing them for many hours in a row for dancing West Coast Swing or Lindy Hop, which is sort of like finding Pan for me (any Percy Jackson lovers out there. A great read aloud for tweens, I find).

  • Shoe Structure:

I would consider these a type of minimalist design in terms of a lower heel-to-toe drop, with a wider toe box, and minimal support. In fact, they feel like an amped up sock to me in many ways with a bit more protection on the bottom so that you won’t injure the bottom of your feet should you encounter any stray stones, splinters, or legos on the floor when dancing. That being said, I also think there is ample room inside for some additional cushioning if you want to add your own inserts or orthodotics.

They are a very soft shoe. I only wear them for dancing indoors on dance surfaces (mostly). I can spin well in them and do drags and sweeps. The only thing I am unable to do would be things like running slides or certain push slides and circle slides (usually suede and hard leather work the best for those types of slides for me), but otherwise, they are providing all I need in a comfy, stylish shoe that is so reasonably priced.

  • Size

As far as size is concerned, for me, with two feet that are not always happy wearing the same size shoe, they have been forgiving and true to my dominant foot in size 8. I wear like a 7.75, so usually 7.5 is on the small side and 8 is on the larger size. I actually feel really good in an 8 because when I choose to not wear socks, I just lace them tighter and when I want to wear socks, they fit perfectly.

These shoes are a dream come true for me.
Give them a try.
A special bonus, the costumer service has been stellar.
